The aim of the department is to help develop the students' ability of interpreting the relationship between the forms the intuition that is the basis of creation, to discover their creative and productive powers by the help of the method of visual discipline; to give the necessary education of perceiving the nature of art and the logic of the visual thought. In department there are drawing, printmaking and mural painting studies that sufficiently fulfill the needs. The studios' quota is approximately 25 students. There are 13 students, for one teacher. Apart from the campus library, there is also a slide archive and a library in the faculty. Also the people who are professionals in their field systematically arrange panels, seminars, conferences and exhibitions.
